We aim to create the highest quality fightwear apparel, to empower and allow athletes to unleash their inner Oni on the training and competition mats.

We started the concept of Oni Fightwear in 2020, launching in late 2021. Our founder Chris Ong a.k.a. @Ongy84 is a renowned jiu-jitsu artist on Instagram with a loyal following.

Chris has trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 15 years and received his black belt in December 2017.  He has a passion not just for jiu-jitsu but martial arts in general, having been inspired to start his BJJ journey from his love of the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.

Martial arts has had a profound impact on Chris' life and he is now dedicated to designing the best possible apparel for the Oni Fightwear brand and its customers.
